ICSA Board
The constitution of the ICSA defines a Board, comprising the
founding members of the Institute and, ex officio, all permanent
members of academic staff who later join as full members.
The Board determines ICSA policy, and is chaired by the ICSA Director.
The position of Director is normally held for a period of three years,
in line with the structure and governance of the Division of Informatics.
Candidates for the position of Director of ICSA must be nominated by
Board members. In the case of more than one nomination, an election
is held to determine a recommendation to the Head of Division, who
formally appoints institute directors. All full members of ICSA are
entitled to vote in such elections.
